Import finds into Pinlog with the import wizard

Have you been keeping your finds in Excel lists, CSV files or Google Earth (KML/KMZ) so far? Then switching to Pinlog used to mean tedious typing – entering everything by hand. Now you simply upload your file and the wizard guides you through the import step by step.

Columns are automatically suggested for the right find fields (title, find spot, date, coordinates …), you map categories to existing ones or create new ones right away, and a live preview with map and statistics shows you in advance how your finds will look in Pinlog. Pinlog detects possible duplicates on its own – you then decide which ones should go in anyway.

Nothing is saved until you deliberately click “Import now” at the end. And every import automatically gets its own label with the file name – so you can always find the imported finds again and undo a complete import with a single click. No risk of cluttering up your collection.

Recycle bin: restore deleted finds

Accidentally deleted a find or a note? Not a problem any more. Deleted finds and notes now go to the recycle bin first and can be restored there for 30 days.

You can bring back individual entries, restore everything at once or empty the recycle bin yourself if you want to. Deleted entries disappear cleanly from the map, lists and exports – so they no longer clutter up the app, but can still be restored!
