Frequently Asked Questions

The data is stored in our database and is only accessible and visible to you. Your finds will not be passed on to third parties!

Unfortunately, it is not yet possible to import finds from Google Maps or a KML file, for example.

Pinlog offers you various options for exporting and backing up your collected data. These exports not only help you to physically archive your data and print it out, for example, but also allow you to process it further in other tools. Choose the format that best suits your needs:

  • KML for mapping software: Ideal for visualizing your finds and notes in Google Earth or Google Maps and processing them there.
  • GPX for navigation devices: Export your locations and routes in a format supported by most GPS devices and navigation apps to efficiently plan your search areas.
  • CSV for spreadsheets: Perfect for further processing your data in programs such as Excel. Create detailed analyses and reports or print out your data for physical archiving.
  • PDF for individual finds: Download the data for individual finds directly as a PDF. This option can be found directly next to each find and allows you to create detailed reports that you can print out and store safely.

Every new user automatically receives a 2-week "Pinlog Pro" trial membership. Finds that you create during this period will of course be retained afterwards.

No, if you have subscribed to Pinlog Pro and have uploaded more than one image to a find, for example, these images will not be deleted! You can still view them!
